Simply place a thin sheet of clay between the molds to imprint delicate textures. From among many flowers, the petal size and vein details were carefully selected and refined in thickness and shape to create this original, easy-to-use mold. The mold has a natural curve, giving a three-dimensional effect. When pressed to its maximum size, the petal can be stretched to about 90 mm in height (see images). The second photo shows the actual flower used to make this mold — a Coral Charm peony variety, known for its large blooms of around 20 cm in diameter.
